The first thing you absolutely must know is that any changes made using the Real Time knobs and sliders are NOT saved. These are "real time" controls, meant for performance. The next thing is that you can make extensive, deep parameter level changes (such as resonance) to your programs at the combi ...

I have an OEM power supply that I got from Full Compass. Hoping that replacing it will make it more stable. But, as usual, taking it apart and re-seating all the relatively easily-accessed connectors seems to have improved stability for now. I haven't seen "A problem has been detected" for a few ...

Replacing power supply in Kronos2-61
Does anyone have step-by-step instructions or video? I have the Kronos/KronosX service manual from 2012, and it has some photos, but it is not the same as Kronos2. Taking the bottom panel off, it looks like I will have to remove the top control panel to get at the screws that hold the power supply ...

You can see I'm not afraid to dig into a Kronos. Why you no share video link?, says private and only cool people may view it. I did not know that - they are not supposed to be private. Apparently Youtube is broken, or I don't know how to use it. I try to change to public, but videos remain ...

It looks like you are right. Their corporate website says they had 295 employees as of 2023. That surprised me.SeedyLee wrote: Korg are a small company (I think with less than 300 employees last I heard) selling into a huge number of countries.

This is kind of old, so the board this guy used might be out of production as well, but the concept is the same. Not for the faint of heart.

Alimente means connection, in French. https://www.linguee.com/french-english/translation/alimenter.html . Interesting. Yes, I'm a bit of a word-nerd. When I was in Paris a couple years ago, I noticed that some grocery stores had a sign reading "Aliments," meaning "food." When I was in elementary ...

I use a little 512 GIGA Toshiba hard drive formated in Fat 32 and directly alimented by the Kronos No problem at all with it I have used a few different thumb drives of various sizes formatted as FAT32. I'm just curious what you mean by the word "alimented" in this context. Do you mean that Kronos ...

I can think of lots of cases where I want the pitch bend (or modulation, or aftertouch, or...) to behave differently based on which patch I have selected. For example, on a rock guitar patch I might want a drastic, whammy-bar dive in the downward direction, and just a half- or whole-step bend in the ...

I tried a little bit of Deoxit contact cleaner on my SO-DIMM contacts, and it _seems_ to have helped. I also bought a spare memory stick that I'll try if and when I start seeing our not-so-favorite error message again. I am pretty sure that noisy AC power is a major contributing factor. One outlet ...
