OK, I'm embarrassed. I didn't know about the Global Wavedrum. I figured a Global card was some kind of configration file or something. Are you thinking that maybe a Global card would give your Oriental all the Global voices, sounds, etc.? I seriously doubt it. I bet they are very different animals ...

My new MacBook Pro has much worse wireless MIDI with my MicroKEY Air than my 5 year-old MacBook Air. There is what I estimate to be a 250ms (quarter second) lag when I press a MIDI key when using themicroKEY Air on the MacBook Pro under Logic Pro X. On my MacBook Air it's much faster.
