I need to move my KLC to a new PC this week, i've not been able to find out how to go about this, still waiting for an email back from Korg UK support.
Personally, i use a DI box, either a Radial Pro D2 or JDI into a mic preamp, i'm lucky enough to have a few including a Drawmer 1970, Neve 8801, UA610b, SSL X-Logic; and run the output of the XD at or near full output. I've find using the line inputs on my interface as direct inputs from the XD to ...
Just come on to post the same question, strange times for us cubase users.
MOST companies have VST3 versions of their plugins now and a few have announced their intention to do so.
UAD is the other 'scary' one a few of us are still waiting for news on.
No i've not checked mine as subtle differences in the stereo image are par for the course with most sounds. I don't use the onboard delays or reverbs as i have better plugs and hardware, so i do that in the mix. I just tend to use the chorus or ensemble as a 'stereoiser' for some of the sounds ...
Yeah, no worries! i'll put it in a different format so it doesn't get picked up by spam bots. support[@]korg(.)co(.)uk If you're not in the uk, they might just direct you to your area's support. I've had to contact Korg support in the UK a couple of times, once because of the KLC licence move cockup ...
It's a similar situation with the ensemble effect, except with that effect it's louder in the right hand channel.
I emailed Korg support and their reply was 'it's by design'.
I get the feeling if you contact support you'll get a similar reply.
All good here, i did contact Korg UK support directly about the issue with software pass not showing some of the collection as being installed, got a reply within a couple of hours or so. It was the same with the migration to the software pass system, support here in the UK is excellent from my own ...
If you're in the UK an email to support@korg.co.uk should get you up and running swiftly. I had issues with the fabled 'migration to the new system', as well as reporting the lack of ASIO capability in the new Prophecy etc. The former was sorted within the hour and the latter was updated a couple of ...
It's a strange one, struggling to believe it wasn't picked up in beta testing so, it looks like it's by design.
Unless their beta testing is extremely minimal.
I picked up the upgrade yesterday and have just checked, No there is NO ASIO option in the audio settings, Just:
Windows Audio
Windows Audio (Exclusive Mode)
Windows Audio (Low Latency Mode) and
Direct Sound
As RobustAmerican says, it's not a multitimbral instrument so you cannot do what you're describing unless you have more than one unit. It's perfectly normal behaviour for a device such as the minilogue series, if you want to record simultaneous parts then possibly use another virtual synth initially ...
All installed and up and running here. Cubase Pro 10.5.12, Polysix was blacklisted but seems ok so far once reactivated. LOVE the new GUIs!!! HUGE thanks and well done to Korg!! @Pranaearth..... RE the Mono/Poly GUI resizing, if you look in the bottom left hand corner, directly above the pitch and ...
Your wish has come true. These things can take a while to develop and test. The Korg Collection now has a scalable interface. https://www.korg.com/uk/news/2020/041602/ Users who already have the plugins from the KORG Collection series can update to version 2 for free. . EXCELLENT news!! 8) 8) I ...
Korg DO seem to move in mysterious ways, they'd be more likely to shift more of these as the main gripe with them are the GUIs. They sound great but even on a 1080 screen they're hard to read properly, must be impossible on a 4k display!!
