You can totally use the kaossilator as the master clock. Set clock to internal and plug midi out to midi in on the slave which is set to external clock

I don’t know of hand the CCs for what you are asking, but the manual has all the CC numbers that work with the Kaoss products. Freely downloadable at Korg.
