I have re-initiated my Kronos61 using an outboard LG DVD drive successfully via USB port 1. It was a strange case though. I was getting failures because I was using the wrong set of DVD's. My Kronos61 has a MOBO for a Kronos2. So instead of the 2 DVD set, I had to use the 3 DVD set to re-initiate ...

You probably have this solved by now. Been a while since I logged in and looked around. But, just in case.
I used, I think, a scream out of my Roland RD800 and did some manipulation. I still have the sample if you want it. PM me.

I send a click track only through 1/2 to the drummer and mix all the backing through the main Left and Right outputs. The click track goes to a little Behringer headphone amp in stereo. Works Vunderbar.
Keeping it simple... :D

I don't know if this will help, or, hopefully give you some peace of mind. I bought a Kronos-61 that I fought with trying to get updated and working. The light went on when I (thanks to the fine minds on this board) realized that the original MB that should have been the D510, was replaced with an ...

If you go into disk mode, you should be able to look in the folder where your .KSC's are stored and see the size of them. Then you could determine if any of them are "unnaturally" large. If they're in different folders, it could be a bit of hunt and peck unfortunately. I keep all mine in one because ...

There's quite in an depth analysis of Tony's composition techniques in a book called "Sounding Out Pop" by Kevin Hudson. Chapter 5. Amazonally available.

Yeah. Definitely a layer of multiple instruments. But, again; so distinctive. I just read in the forum that Stephen Kay helped with Karma programming for a tour. I wonder if he'd have any insight on how this was created live. I'll sit down with my Strat tonight and see what I can do. If I come up ...

Red Rain - Peter Gabriel - That first 'C' bass note

There's something about that bass note. I'm sure the first one is Tony double tracked. Then when Peter starts singing "Red rain is ..." it's the same with maybe some low strings and the CP-70 or 80 on it as well. It's so distinctive. Especially on the live tracks. Where most likely it's sampled and ...

I was wondering if there's a .pdf listing the sounds that are on this pack. I watched the video, but, unfortunately there's only two that I'd ...
