Might be worth updating to the latest OS version (I am presuming you are on an older OS if you installed from the DVD). The latest update they changed the authorisation side on the Kronos so you and add and remove EXS files without restrictions. I wonder if the device uses the same system. Just a ...

Just throwing this idea into the mix, just to be clear I have not tried what I am suggesting as I only have 1 Kronos but here we go. I back my Kronos up by connecting it over ethernet (Apple USB --> Ethernet adapter) and then connect to it using an FTP client from my Mac to the Kronos. I can then ...

I have the 770s and the 990s. The open backed really give the sound more room to move about (more like a 'HiFi' headphones rather than reference on the 770s), rather than let more sound in, so as far as hearing things outside of your headphones I don't think you will notice much difference. Only ...

I can highly recommend the Adam Audio T series.
I use then with my Kronos/Prologue/Minilogue and Trinity off a Focusrite interface and they sound great.
They are available in a variety of sizes to suit, and a good price for the quality you get.

Nice one Mike for making this clearer to people. This method of saving PCG and SNG files has always been the way with Korg Workstations, even going back to my O1W/fd days, you just keep them as a pair and you can't go wrong. It only got more complicated when sampling became the standard, which back ...

I had issues on my Mac with the old Korg midi driver, so used to run without it. The only thing it really affected was the speed when talking to the Kronos librarian, it was slower without the driver (when it worked). Just recently I have installed the new driver (updated this year) and so far it ...

I gave it a try last night and it stayed in sync ok. it wasn't until I shut it all down and retired for a nice glass of wine that I had a thought. I sync out from the Minilogue to the Prologue as I prefer to have the tempo on a knob rather than on a tap button, so I use the Minilogue to adjust the ...

I use the sync between my Minilogue and the Prologue and haven't seen this issue. I might be wrong here, but I think the sync is the Volca compatible type so it's not normal CV voltages, I remember watching a YouTube video with Nick Batt from Sonic State doing some syncing with a Minilogue using CV ...

Cocoroman, Have a look here for Trinity OS files and manuals... http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=461 I am guessing that the MOSS board was fitted to this machine (as it would have to have it installed in order for V3 OS to be installed). It was then removed and a SOLO board put in it's ...

I use a powered USB hub to connect my Kronos (audio/midi), Minilogue (midi) and Prologue (midi) together and then run that into my Macbook Pro. It works fine, especially now with the new midi driver from Korg. I use an Amazon basics hub (see link below) and it works fine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp ...
