They've been discontinued, I think. I did find one an Amazon (US). I hope you can find a new one or good used one, they're great.

I've done such things not for the Wavedrum specifically, but for a portable kit for a keyboard and bass amp that was able to keep up with a marching band: https://technoinfo.blogspot.com/2015/08 ... wered.html.

But the DA200S is 28 kilos, so it's a *heavier* solution. What about using a small e-drum or keyboard amp (or headphones/ear buds) for just your own monitor, and tie the Wavedrum into the system the rest of the band is using, and let your sound guy keep the mix right?

My Simmons DA200S has been great, and I haven't tested how loud it gets because I like the front wall of my house where it is. It has output jacks to connect it to the rest of the sound system too.

After investigating the dholak, I think I might know why it wasn't included: it's actually two instruments (two different drum heads, with very different sounds, and played in such a way that each head has multiple sounds). The Wavedrum is a single drum, with a rim that may have a different voice ...

There's no built-in way to load sounds into the Wavedrum. There is, apparently, some way to open it up and access the place in which the sounds are stored, but that would likely void the warranty and be a risk. I might suggest getting a separate device for the sound you have in mind... perhaps the ...

Wavedrum Global stereo seperation

New Wavedrum Global owner here, wowed by how good it sounds via headphones. I believe many/all of the voices have some sort of stereo going on, and it really makes it more interesting. I would assume that having gig sound as left and right as possible would be a good thing. Does anyone have ...
