Thats me sorted the problem. Thanks for all the help dudes )

So the synths respond when I play the keys on the key step. But when I press the pads on the Electribe they do not respond to that. If that's what you mean? This could be the problem? any idea how to fix this?

Yeh Jiggins I have both the MIDI send filter and MIDI receive filter on OFF

I have the midi out of my key step going to the midi in of my Kenton midi thru, the out of the Kenton to the midi in of my Korg Electribe sampler 2, another out of the Kenton going to midi port 5 of the RK004, the midi out of the Korg Electribe sampler to MIDI port 4 of the RK004, then the MIDI ins ...
