Ron I hear ya, yes the LS would weigh less then lugging the SE on a flight, but I’d still have to deal with the cargo issue and if you think about cost, I think a loaded MAC laptop would be cheaper and so much easier to gig with.

too small a keyboard for my needs, really would need 88 to cover all the splits.

I want to thank everyone for the advice. I think the only really safe solution is to get a mac and load programs on MainStage, and then just order a generic weighted 88 key controller at the gig site. That way I can be sure all my patches/combis, splits/layers appear as they should. It's too bad ...

couple questions re Mainstage. Does it come with a Mac or is it a standalone purchase? Is it loaded with useable sounds or do you purchase programs to load it? What size Mac laptop would be appropriate? Ram, cpu...etc. Plan to use it as a dedicated music laptop but want to be sure it has enough ...

Touring Rig

I need some advice. I recently was offered the opportunity to play keys in a band that does extensive touring in the US. They play festivals, casinos, etc. The dilemma is that they use backline keys at their shows. First question I have is whether it’s even likely that a backline company would have a ...

I'll give it another try and let you know. Possibly need to adjust the sensitivity of the joy stick so its range is muted and its easier to hit the sweet spot.

Hi Greg, thx for the assist. I'm actually using the EXs177 sound pack from SOP. It definitely got me most of the way but that growl, almost distorted sound of a sax blown hard is missing. It's very possible I am not using some of the Kronos capabilities, but I've tried the joystick as well as the ...

SAX GROWL

Anybody got a suggestion as to a breath controller I could purchase that is compatible with the Kronos? Looking to add that distorted over the top growl so many sax solos exhibit. I've loaded aftermarket sax samples and they're awesome but looking for a sax on eleven!! If there is a simpler solution ...

User Banks

I'm thinking this is a common question but just want to be sure I'm not missing something. Like a lot of us I have added third party programs/combis to the Kronos. The problem is every time I purchase one of these sets it ends up taking up an entire User Bank. I've run out of empty banks. I realize ...

At least in my case, it is definitely NOT a weak battery. There is some software bug that causes the time/date memory to revert to 2010 each time I load new programs.

for what its worth, I've experienced the Date/Time issue twice. Both times after downloading programs.

Easy fix once you know.
