Pretty sure Korg warranty is 3 years (as long as you're the original owner). Plus an extra year if you register in the first 90 days after purchase.

The JBL 3 series are very very good for the price. I have several of the 308 and 305 monitors (I have two 7.1 setups), they outperform anything in their price range and most things above it. I think deleting it from your registered devices on your Korg profile should do it. I had to return a defective one after I registered it and that’s all I did.

So uncheck the factory PRELOAD, do a re-load to clear out that data, and then create my custom patches etc. in essentially a blank canvas and then save... Interesting idea, I hadn't thought of approaching it that way but I could see how it could work ...

thats good to rule out any power inconsistency. your choice of US dealer has no bearing on a factory defective. Which is what your SE is- a Korg factory defective. There is a problem and you should exchange it with Zsounds. They should push your exchange to the top of the list. Thats what I would ...
