I am also interested in this. I'd like to get a mix but the lack of external MIDI or sync clock is the only thing stopping me.

It might be worth shopping around. One or two outlets are presently showing as having Wavestates in stock. As always, call the store to double check. If no joy there, you could try asking for a discount. The local store seems to be offering the next tranche of Wavestates, for mid-end-April delivery ...

You can bring external audio into the Monologue, through the Audio in jack on the back. Do note however that this is an analog input; so no audio files. The analog audio input is inserted at the VCF input, and is affected by cutoff (either dial or through LFO), resonance and drive. You can also ...

Do you mean the preset projects or the samples? I managed to clear all my patterns but I recall trying to clear all the samples and I couldn't. I even have that file on my device still.

The monologue (and I think all 'logue synths) has no external input. Some analog synths will have an input that inserts sound at the mixer or filter, but not the monologue. The synthesis chain (VCO, VCF, VCA, effects) is purely analog on the mono, so there is no way to load new sounds or samples ...

Is multitimbral mode a specific mode? Or do you just mean playing each of the four layers separately?

The manual is huge, could you tell me which page you're referencing here? I'm curious about this now, and mine hasn't arrived yet.

Yeah, you know I want superbooth to happen, mark, but I question the wisdom of going ahead. No population of human has been exposed to this particular type of coronavirus, so it will be worse than most flus and spread quick. It looked bad enough that they canceled the Geneva Motor Show, which is a ...

I think you would definitely know if it was a demo piece. I've only seen two demo DM12s in stores but both of them looked more worn out than the rest of the items on display, little more scratched paint and even missing controls. Obviously that's just anecdote, but I think that if it all looks ...

Super cool setup. I often fantasize about ejecting all my expensive stuff and using only volcas, it's nice to see someone actually did it, and it work really well. I do my music in the exact same way you do so i can really appreciate the purpose of this. It's great. That being said, I'm never ...

Oh excellent. I don't have v2 installed yet so that would explain why i don't see it. Just haven't gotten around to it.

I actually said the wrong thing earlier, you can go into the Program Edit menu and transpose the program by cents and notes, which affects the sequence in the program.

I have an XD and I think it does not have that feature. I just went through all the menu settings and did not find that. Closest thing is that you can transpose the sequence, but that's not the same. The trade-off is that it's a polysynth so you can play new notes over your sequence groove, which is ...
