VOLCA MIX power to KAOSS PAD 2S?

Is it possible to power a KAOSS PAD 2S with the 9v Outputs on the VOLCA MIX?

KP2S has a 4.5v DC Input

Can I just use some kind of "tip adapter" on the VMIX's included power jumpers?
