Mery Xmas folks: In youtube video below, I thought I saw Jordan rudess behind a kronos attached to an external screen (watch after 41st. minute of the video), or was it for his notes? . I read the OS 1.5 now allows automatic integration of korg nano series via USB for Kronos 73 and 88 (not for 61 ...

designing such 2-toggle switch is a greate idea. It also would be nice if someone could find a way to change those two 9-pin mini din jacks under M3's keybed with regular MIDI jacks or maybe a 9pin-to-5pin MIDI adapter could be invented so we all could easily use M3 with a midi patcher such as ...

owners of M3-73, M3-88 + Radias-R Rack ???

Hello forum, Users who have both M3-M and Radias-R mounted on your M3 chassis: is there anyway to select which module to be played without having to turn off one of them or lower the volume? Is there anything can be done, any switch like SW1, SW2 that can be assign to act as a module selector? What ...

Hey Christian,

Thanks, the problem is solved. It would be really disappointing if there wasn't any external clock (tempo) setting via MIDI in M3. I found it. Man......, I gotta find more time playing with this toys and definitely invest time on taking the manuals out of their plastic wrap :? .

M3 system clock via MIDI and not S/PDIF

I wonder if there's a way to set M3's clock to external via MIDI and NOT via S/PDIF. When it comes to system clock, M3 has two options: Internal, and S/PDIF. What you do when M3 is not your master keys and need to be synced externally with a device that doesn't have S/PDIF?

hopefully I'm not being off-topic but I wonder if there's a way to set M3's clock to external via MIDI and NOT via S/PDIF. How can I slave the M3 to a drum machine that doesn't have S/PDIF?

It's least likely that korg supply gears of different quality in different countries. What I saw and tried in my local store was terrible. the metal body, joystick, wood part, they all were great, just the black and white keys were disaster. Korg's promotion here in Canada didn't make sense to me ...

I got tons of korg gears and love every one of them. There are just a few remarks about the M3: - Korg introduced the new Komponent idea (which is great), it however didn't make any attempt to assure that users of "Komponentized" gears find a source to get these "komponentized" parts. How so ...

While we are talking about adding modules to M3, I would like to know how to add a keyboard controller to M3-m so that it functions like the M3 keyboard. The problem with MIDI controller keyboard is that in Sequencer I have to change both the track on M3-m and MIDI channel on the keyboard ...

Yes BasariStudios, you are correct, that's a Z1. I replaced my Triton Studio 76 with this motif you see because I had two Triton racks but I'm not that happy with Motif's feel and touch. I didn't get the M3's keybed because it looked so cheap and plasticy. I don't know why Korg gave up the quality ...

Korg Motif M3-ES7 ! Anyone selling M3-73's KEYBED ???

I'm using motif's keys for M3 and am looking for the original M3 keys ( 73 or 88 ). I Need a KEYBED that comes with hookups for both modules (M3 and Radias) and also the two 9-pin mini DIN cables. I'm in Toronto, Canada. Can deal locally or via eBay/PayPal. Thanks.

Yes I think that's what I need to do. I got a Castlewood adapter which is famous for being problematic. Everyone, if you see an adapter like what shown in this picture (being sold on eBay for around $15) DO NOT BUY IT. It doesn't work.
