USB problem -NOT the usual Driver issue -ideas?
My prologue doesn't seem to connect to PC software anymore via USB. I don't think this is the infamous Korg USB driver problem. This problem happens with BOTH Korg Librarian software and also the Sunny Synths Panel application which has a handy librarian feature. The Korg USB driver seems fine, and ...

Just to report back on this for anyone else: I sent it for inspection to the NZ Korg authorized repair team. After thinking it was fine they finally found the fault and replaced one of the voice cards. I asked if they had many issues with the Prologue, if many people were sending them in for repair ...

Re: Getting Prologue repaired out of warranty
I heard Korg no longer repair instruments that are past warranty. That seems a bit s**t. I gotta ask where did you hear that stupid comment? I know Korg NZ Distributers regularly repairs all ages of Korg synths, they repaired a 1980's M1 rack for me last year. That was from someone in the UK about ...

Getting Prologue repaired out of warranty
My Prologue has a noise issue in the VCOs and is out of warranty. I heard Korg no longer repair instruments that are past warranty. That seems a bit s**t. Especially considering how bung the Prologue seems to be with hardware issues. Is this something you have encountered, have you had a synth ...

So I have done a factory reset, removed all user osc and fx. Also reinstalled latest firmware. I still have a problem of noisy VCOs using INIT patch with no FX. I heard that Korg no longer repair products out of warranty. I will see if they can do anything. This thing is just 2 years old. Behringer ...

If you haven't changed any user oscillators recently it is probably something wrong. But hear with Korg support/service if any connector between voice cards may be oxidiced or something, or loose. Otherwise it may be a user oscillator that corrupt memory under some circumstances. I had one of those ...

Prologue voice beginning to fail? What's expected lifespan?
My Prologue 16 is about two years old. I have noticed recently that sometimes when I play a note it starts out with a scratchy distorted noise. I guess one of the voices is beginning to fail? Has anyone had this happen? It is past warranty. I guess I will enquire with Korg about getting it repaired.

Thank you very much! This is great advice. Unfortunately, I have a lot of Midi USB Devices, and the tool does not allow a free sorting of devices if I understand it correctly. BUT! In the meantime I discovered that the librarian does work with the good old standard Midi connection, too! Ignore the ...

Re: KORG USB driver does not work with Windos 10 pro
Good Morning. Install the latest version USB Driver KORG on my PC. I have the WINDOS 10 PRO operating system and it does not recognize any of my KORG devices. I tried with previous versions and the Drivers do not work for this version of WINDOWS PRO either. I will appreciate the support with the ...

SOLVED - I copied the URL into my Profile (Upload AVATAR URL) but then deleted the (s) from (https://yoururlfilename....)
That allowed the Korg Forum to see my image.

Re: How to upload your avatar.
This is the basic premise when using any Korg softwareThe first option is to upload the avatar direct from your machine.

Re: Would like a Prologue 8 but...
Probably your best bet is to get the 8 and another bigger MIDI keyboard to control it, might as well go 88 keys. Another plus to this is you can have aftertouch which prologue can receive via MIDI but the prologue keyboard doesn't do. Some people don't like the prologue keybed anyway so this could ...
