RE: EK-50 / EK-50L - Songbook feature?
My EK-50 allows me create a song using a style, a keyboard set, tempo, etc and store it in the built-in setlist on the keyboard so I can recall a song exactly the way I programmed it later on. It also allows me to backup my setlist to a USB flash drive in case something goes "haywire". I hope this ...

RE: Light Keyboard
For me, it was a tough decision between the Korg EK-50 and the Yamaha PSR-E463. I've owned Korg and Yamaha boards in the past and enjoyed both brands. I settled on the EK-50 for the 64 voice polyphony vs the PSR-E463 48 voice polyphony. Both are lightweight easily transported, portable arrangers.

Re: External Speaker(s)
The Thump is a full range powered speaker and I can use it without any other outboard amplification. When I combine it with the Gemini system, I connect the Gemini speakers to the dedicated speaker out jacks and the Thump gets connected to one of the monitor output jacks. I've got a one man band and use a Mackie Thump 12 for practice at home, but when I gig away from home, I use the Thump as a sub/3rd speaker and a Gemini ES-210MXBLU Portable PA System as the main setup. Very good frequency range and easy to load/unload.

To get to 213, I press the power button and turn on the keyboard. After the keyboard boots up, I press the shift button and the upper 3 button. This ensures the lower button and all the upper buttons are lit. At this point, all the voices should be available and you can punch in 213 on your keypad ...
