Hello

I modded my Volca Beats and got the notes going into my DAW fine. I opted to drill a hole at the back and fit a 3.5mm stereo socket and made my own cable.

I noticed if I connect SYNC IN or SYNC OUT or the EARPHONES the notes stop getting sent to MIDI OUT.

Anyone else seeing this?

Am having a think about which to get... what's to stop me from downloading the OK GO factory sample (from the Korg website) on to a stock Sample? And vice versa?

I turned off EN RX TRANSPORT and this has helped. Still some random behaviour at times but much better The manual also suggest turning off LOCAL SW when using a DAW Playing back MIDI recordings of programs with motion data don't sound exactly the same as when playing directly from the Monologue. Yep, same issue. Monologue also sometimes keeps sounding after pressing Stop in Waveform.

Same behaviour whether using the Windows or Linux version of Waveform. Have tried changing various global settings on the synth but to no avail.

Hello When I record the Monologue via MIDI to say Waveform/Ardour I find I always need to reselect the program on the synth again (using the program/value knob) for MIDI playback to work properly - otherwise I just hear the note but not the modulation. I'm using the USB MIDI cable. Anyone else ...

When I connect the two I find that when I play a sequence or note on the Monologue the Volca starts playing at the right tempo which is useful.

What else can the Monologue do with the Volca? Can I play the Volca live from the Monologue?

If the MIDI out functionality is all there why didn't Korg wire it up to a DIN plug? For some ppl no MIDI out is a dealbreaker. The Volcas would've been even more popular.
