Recording Arp & drum tracks

I'm having problems recording the Arp & drum track MIDI in Reaper. I can record the MIDI of single notes played by myself with the keys but when I select Arp & Drum track, plus latch, and play a note to trigger the Arp and Drum track it doesn't work properly. The drum track plays fine but the Arp ...

I've changed the settings in Global to turn local control off and set the USB 1 & 2 to L/R. I've set up Nautilus ...

There's a YouTube video, produced by Korg UK, about capturing KARMA sequences to a DAW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SbVxe-YZiQ There are quite a few YouTube videos, including a Korg tutorial series, plus output from various users e.g. Qui Robinez. This Forum's search function can be quite ...

In Omnisphere's Multi's, it is possible to set the MIDI channels for each of the eight Patch slots. If any of those Omnisphere Patch slot MIDI channels correspond to the KARMA MIDI channel allocations, then those Patches will respond to the Generated Effect (GE) output of those KARMA modules. Bear ...

It seems to work ok with external hardware synth modules and with Omnisphere stand-alone. Not tried it with a DAW, but guessing it should work. . I'm interested to understand what you mean exactly, could you please provide a bit more detail? Do you mean, for example, that you connect Karma to ...

A guide to recording KARMA MIDI data

Hi, I have my Kronos 2 connected by USB to my laptop/DAW and I can record what I play into the Kronos in MIDI in my DAW. What I can't do is record the MIDI data for KARMA. I have done a Google search and found that in Global there are a couple of settings I need to select. I have done that but still ...

Two USB device entries for the Kronos is correct. As suggested in the video linked the above post, use the "Uninstall Korg USB-MIDI Device" program to check how many MIDI driver instances there are. In the Option menu of the uninstaller program, uncheck the "Korg MIDI Device only" box. If there are ...

A lot of duplicates!
I didn't realise that's what they were until @voip explained that duplications happen.

I've downloaded the drivers and connected the Kronos to my laptop. Turned everything on and I can see the Kronos in my device manager. There are 2 entries which I think is correct, 1 for audio and 1 for Midi. The problem I'm having is that I don't see the Kronos as a Midi device in my DAW. Is there ...

Re: USB connection

Your Kronos has three USB ports: 2 USB type A and 1 USB type B. To interface with your computer and its DAW, you'll connect from the USB type B port to a USB in port on your computer. Most computers have a type A port, many of the new ones also have a type C port. Some, such as a MS Surface, only ...
