Editing volume level of a sound

When in sound play mode, how do you edit the starting volume of the sound itself?

I scanned the help and manual but am left with a blank.

Thanks!!

Thank you. Can you recommend a simple software package that will allow me to save my program changes in a simple midi file?

Accessing songbook entries with midi PC

I remember reading how to do this but I cannot seem to search it properly.

I would like to choose songbook entries by program change. Is there a tutorial somewhere for how to do this?

Thanks

Dean

Someone once posted software I could use to make simple patch changes into a midi file. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Thanks - did not know that shift-start/stop would nullify stuck notes. The reason I used arranger mode was to have constant bass live on the left hand so no matter what sound I picked, the bass remained. I do like the suggestion about the song book. Ultimately that is my goal but there are 500 or ...

Thanks - both are good. I tell you I was so devastated on stage on sunday I was ready to give up music entirely. Nothing worked - stuck notes that I could not figure out how to stop without rebooting the kb. Then I change a patch and the bass and chords change - this had never happened before so I ...

Performance favorites

Hey folks, for live situations with a full band I do not use the arranger functions (tends to annoy the drummer). I do use the performances extensively and would like to have my favorites centrally located. Is there some obvious way to do this that I am missing? It would be nice if there was a user ...

It would be nice if some of the better sounds were sold as single sounds instead of giant collections. Some creators have no understanding of customer service, or just don't care.

Re: Buying ressources...

you always get what you have paid ! It is sometimes, but not always true. Often there are hobbyists with really great products that can give "professional" sounds a decent run for their money. I wonder if any other users that are NOT developers have any experience with the sounds you have mentioned ...

All I can share is my experience. I meant no disrespect. I was working for a multinational foodservice company where I designed and installed POS (point-of-sale) systems that used a similar platform to today's keyboards (basically - a computer with a switching power supply). I have personally ...

Bad advice. Cheapest UPS are square wave and are of no benefit to the quality of your power source. Ask any electrical engineer.

Maybe not - but common mode problems can cause software problems, so maybe the software interaction is making hardware calls that are more sensitive.

I have experienced this myself, but hey - it's only me. YMMV
