You need to turn the channel gains up higher to get the VU meters working. They need to be around 3 o'clock. but when i do that (past 1 o'clock) i start getting distortion....the gains cant seem to go past 1. do you have that same problem? they start peaking (alot of red) and distorting. Personally, I have found that the Zero 8 mixer just likes to be run hot. Many of us are experiencing a very loud noise floor with the Zero mixers.
