Firstly I thought too that the headphone output is too weak. But after testing I must say that its loud. In home use I'm using volume at 9 o'clock position (that's tiny less than I've used before on Pioneer). But there is big difference in sound, I thing. Korg sounds real digital (for me badly than ...

Re: DJ'd last saturday with Zero 8....
You need to turn the channel gains up higher to get the VU meters working. They need to be around 3 o'clock. but when i do that (past 1 o'clock) i start getting distortion....the gains cant seem to go past 1. do you have that same problem? they start peaking (alot of red) and distorting. Mine show ...

Re: DJ'd last saturday with Zero 8....
this was actually my 3rd event... this time is was an 18th bday party, bunch of party kids! i was worried about the hiss and the monitoring...so to eliminate that problem i bought a headphone amp and that fixed that, but without it, it would've been a problem for sure. the headphone levels are too ...

levels dont work
Well it was more for the fellas with the "mine don't work at all" sort of comments. I do agree with you they don't work as they should, my gain is at 2 o'clock not at 12 as you stated for normal position. Sorry if I came of as condescending but it wasn't geared towards you and I'm simply trying to ...

Thanks for the update, We'll check the v1.5 firmware. actually the update did not fix the VU meter movement problem. my VU meters are still not moving unless you crank up the master to full blast. if im doing something wrong, please ...

Re: Korg Zero 8!!!!
Hi I just got this incredible console.Everything is working perfect but i notice that i must put the gain level at the highest point to get a sound from the synthesizer and generally all the gains of channels that i use. I also notice that the master level meter is not moving more than -50 db even ...

Re: i can't increase the gains...
how are you able to increase the gains on the channel ?if i go past 12clock, it starts clipping and the sounds gets distorted. i haven't tried it yet, but surely you crank the master right up, and then adjust your channel gains from there? or does yours simply go from zero to hero? you're right, i ...

i can't increase the gains...
Personally, I have found that the Zero 8 mixer just likes to be run hot. Many of us are experiencing a very loud noise floor with the Zero mixers. To combat this, I have resorted to turning the volume Way down on my monitors, and then running my signals out of the Korg very hot. (ie channel gains ...

how about low meter, hot gain for cd/line and still low cue
so i installed the new software update. it did fix 1 problem for me, the cue balance in the middle is now loud'er' but i still had the problem where the cue levels in general were too low. the reason for that is, the cd/line gain can't be raised any higher than 12oclock because it starts clipping ...

Re: Zero 8 software update available
Hi Guys Any of you with the Zero 4 and Zero 8 can now download the v1.50 software update. I have posted it on the Korg UK support site. It's Windows only for the moment and needs to be updated by firewire. www.korguksupport.co.uk in the downloads section. Mike so is this the version update that ...
