Re: Some patches on the multi-poly native hog 1 CPU core

Yes, I've been getting this too on the Native. Modwave, Wavestate and Opsix all fine. Hopefully an update (when ready will sort this bug.

Thank you both for your replies. I'll just do the hard slog of programming a combi with the info I have for the sequencer set-up. I want to be able to call the sequencer setup in a combi. (Just purchased my second Kronos, so the new one will be the master (of the whole studio!), and the old one ...

Saving sequencer settings as a multi

Can anyone tell me whether there's a way and how to save my Sequencer settings as a Multi? So that the various tracks and effects setting, etc, are then turned into a Multi that I can essentially use my Kronos as a Sound module to play from an external sequencer - if that makes sense. (I don't quite ...

I think the Kronos 3 is on it's way to us. Just a guess, of course. When it arrives it will be too expensive for me to buy - maybe!! The reason for my positivity is what others say here - it does what it does very very well, and there is a lot it does. A few weeks ago I was in a local music gear ...

I've got just one Kronos, an LS 88 key. I need at least two more Kronos's, an 88 key with fully weighted keys (priority) , and a 61 key with aftertouch. If there's another 61 key going spare, I'll have that too.

I think Yamaha have missed some things. Sequencer should be at least 32 tracks. I can't see it started but midi also over USB. And there needs to be additionally at least one USB C connection, that can also send video over USB C to a monitor, or two, or three.... The £4,000, those things should be ...

If there is such a thing as the Multiverse, there won’t be a new Kronos in any of them. Unless something can be made around a Raspberry Pi, Korg isn’t going to do it. Why? You’re asking the wrong person. You should ask Korg why they only develop keyboards and synths using the Raspberry Pi. Sorry, I ...

I've heard some rumblings in the new Montage M discussion threads around the place that there may be an announcement of something new around 16 November... If there is such a thing as the Multiverse, there won’t be a new Kronos in any of them. Unless something can be made around a Raspberry Pi, ...

I find the Kronos Remote app very useful indeed, giving much more usability by bypassing some very frustrating design decisions from Korg that undermined the potential the Kronos has, and presenting Kronos more intuitively. I think the app is reasonably priced and I absolutely applaud the app ...

Thanks, yes I've been finding that out those limitations too. Knowing the back story helps to put the Opsix Native limitations into some perspective. I bought the Opsix Native on the strength of the Mod And Wave. I kinda think that the California team could sort out the "actually not ready to market ...

Re: Kronos is the most amazing Midi Controller

It’s worth thinking of it as the best ever midi controller, with some excellent sounds included. IMHO, the best MIDI controller ever is the Kurzweil MIDIboard (I have one). But indeed the Kronos as well also offers pretty good controller possibilities. I looked-up the MIDbaord. I wouldn't want to b ...
