Do Wavestate/Modwave/Opsix share common power adapter?

Based on the specs I can find online, the new Korg ‘trinity’ (i.e., Wavestate, Opsix, Modwave) have common voltage/current (12V, 2.5A) requirements. Center-positive polarity seems to be most common with 12V adapters, but can anyone please confirm that the Modwave and Opsix have the same polarity? Th ...

So essentially, since the amplifier on the Odyssey is putting out a fixed S:N on either/both lines of the balanced output, it really doesn’t matter if you compensate for the loss of half the signal via gain (in terms of S:N remaining fixed and assuming there is no noise picked up via the output c ...

Thanks so much for the replies and help. This is actually at more of the heart of what I was trying to get at in the broader context (what you write about regarding the mixer’s headroom and normal levels/ i.e. meters reading “0”). So to use your example mixer in the case with running the Odyssey bala ...

I see; I guess I don’t have the equipment to test but could try to find a software version. The reason I ask is because it does matter if I’m feeding an unbalanced input, as the nominal input level would be 6dB lower than what would be normally expected.

KARP Odyssey balanced XLR output

I’ve read the “high” output via XLR is a balanced output @ 4dBu. As such, id assume its a differentially balanced output (rather than impedance balanced). Can anyone confirm this, please?

Thank you! If I recall correctly, the Odyssey keyboard ranges from C1-C8 including the +/- 2 octave switch; so what you’re saying also implies that an external CV can provide oscillator (upper) pitch ranges that the Odyssey keyboard CVs cannot?

ARP Odyssey CV range

Do the Korg/ARP Odyssey CV/TTIG/GATE/PEDAL inputs safely accept the standard 0V-10V CV range? Sorry for the simple question, I can’t seem to find confirmation of this in any specs somehow.

Who is writing these Korg Manuals??

Guys, it’s time to say something about the poor quality of writing in these manuals. Who is responsible for writing them??? And more importantly, who (if anyone) is responsible for proof reading them? I’m sorry but at the professional level, this is inexcusable. For instance, look at the description ...

Various Octave shift anomalies

Hi everyone. I have some questions regarding shifting octaves and am curious if anyone can explain why the following seem to work the way they do: 1) When assigning keyboard zones with the physical keys, only notes C3-B5 are allowed, despite attempting to change octaves with the buttons/Utility ...
