there are different interpretations of where C 1 actually is on the keyboard, this is why you see the one octave discrepancy

since you have live, what about impulse?

you just need the usb cable

simply switch scenes, as long as the midi info being sent out is different (different cc, note or channel) your fine

checkout the native mode in live for pK if you have live 7
