Hi Simon I think macboy is pointing out that some "freezes" are caused by the user loading corrupted SETs, samples, incompatible files etc... (i.e. user fault) and other freezes may be due to an actual keyboard fault (i.e. Korg hardware/software fault). If you look back through the forum, there are ...

In the case of the Pa2x lock up failure mode, SHIFT + START/STOP does not work. It appears that all the key and button and LED scanning circuitry locks up. Some LEDs glow brightly some stop working. The only thing you can do is to turn the power off. I'm aware of this problem due to the 3 times it ...

Re: Your help needed please
Just to recap, "the freeze" is defined as a Pa2x OS1.11 or Pa800 OS1.60 which during live playing locks up - possibly with notes stuck on - and you have to turn power off because nothing else will reset the keyboard to working state. This is a serious problem and it will be fixed as soon as the ...

Hi Graham, Is it a UPS with a lead acid battery inside? Weighs about 20 to 25 lbs for something suitable to protect a Pa2x and sound system. Costs about $150. You would know. Sorry to say it, but a "surge protector" weighing less than 2 lb does nowt worth having. They protect against 1 surge and ...
