Re: Kronos 3 lives!

HI, Ive pre ordered a Kronos 3 as well. What we know so far.... They have changed the touch screen, probably using an updated type which they say makes it more responsive. I sure hope it's better than the Nautilus's. That touch screen is AWFUL. I touch one spot, it clicks something 5cm away. This ...

Re: KRONOS Relaunched!

Code I wrote 30 years ago? Sure, I suppose. Code a cast of thousands wrote over the past 30 years? I'd rather be drug across carpet tacks and dipped in rubbing alcohol. I do not believe there were many developers working on it. And sure not thousands. As we see that there is no software development ...

Re: meaning and origin of KRONOS name

I thought that was Q'onos.

It's confusing b/c my wife clocks into work with an app called Kronos, even spelled the same.

Re: KRONOS Relaunched!

And yet, I don't know if they'll ever come out with a Kronos that would make me want to spend the money on it. I have a Montage M and a Fantom EX along with my Kronos 2. I honestly have a hard time imagining what they could add to the Kronos that would make it worth me spending several thousand ...

Re: KRONOS Relaunched!

While I think it's a bit optimistic for them to refer to what's essentially a Kronos 2.1 as a Kronos 3, that may not be the whole story here. Many of us (myself included) had just assumed the Kronos had been left for dead. Now they've put it up for sale again. Maybe they have plans in the works for ...

Re: Future of the Nautilus.

Yeah it's going to be discontinued. Just to put things in perspective, the Kronos was an anomaly in that, it was produced in now 4 different iterations over the last 14 years. It's the only Workstation model that has been reocurring. Everything else has at some point been discontinued. Korg will ...

Re: NAMM 2025 Rumor - New flagship incoming?

LET'S HOPE!!! We won't know until someone on this forum is brazen enough to try it. OG Kronos and Kronos 2 motherboards are different. Has anyone tried the Kronos2 motherboard in an OG Kronos or Kronos X? Did it work? The product specialist of the Italian representative, states that is fanless, zero ...

Re: Need help getting the best acoustic piano sound from Kronos2

I agree. I am truly hoping they release some kind of Nautilus pack so we can have some of the Nautilus improvements on the Kronos. If they do, that's a good set of stuff to have! Or if they offer it by itself, that would be pretty sweet. They may not though - they've shown several times they want ...

Re: Need help getting the best acoustic piano sound from Kronos2

I gotta say, I went years without noticing the 2 Steinway grands from the M3 that were hiding in EXs4. They're high quality HD-1 samples, one is 4-layer and one is 3-layer, but they have such character which I really like. The SGX-1 German Grand is technically a Steinway also, and yes, the German ...

You may have to load the programs for the Nautilus AT for it to utilize aftertouch in the programs and combis. I don't know if the ones on the OG Nautilus has any parameters assigned to aftertouch.

Re: Drum Fills between patterns.

You should create a drum fill in Seq Pattern. Export as User Drum Track Pattern (Convert To Drum Track Pattern), then use it on the special scene. Scene 4 for example and use scene 4 before switch to scene 2 also 3. So Scene 1 Verse, Scene 2 Chorus, Scene 3 Bridge Scene 4 fill. Thanks for your ...
