Thanks for the bug report info in Progenie. I haven't tried this software yet, but it seems it's been long abandoned, yet needs to be registered. Any tips on where to get a registered version, of how to register it? Thanks.

Although you're generally correct that Triton floppies, actual or emulated, are designed to be 1.44MB max MS-DOS format, take a look here to see how you can FAR exceed that on Triton specifically:

Most of the items in the Trinity doc list from OP are available directly from Korg USA website (user manuals) and the rest can be obtained online with easy search. There are a few user-created docs that may be harder to find, but except for just one or two on that list, all should be pretty readily ...

No way to audition contents of a Trinity PCG file on anything but an actual hardware Trinity or TR-Rack.
