Isn't there only one rca size?

I'm confused. What do you want to use the kp3 for? I would have thought you'd run the emx through the kp3.

1. I can't remember, but it takes almost a minute to load. No kidding. You are not going to want to load them mid song.

2. It's basically 13 seconds at about 70 bpm. I'm not sure about the merge. The auto bpm is alright.

3. I haven't noticed bugs, but maybe someone else has.

midi is a pretty broad subject. What do you want to do? Basically it's a way of interfacing machines. Like if I have a synth, and I want to trigger a kaoss pad's sample from the synth, I can do that. Or if I want to adjust the cutoff knob on the synth with the x/y plane of the kaoss pad, I can do ...

There is the alesis airfx. (I might have the name slightly wrong)

It's a little dome that you wave your hand over to adjust effects. This is even better than the kaoss in a way, because it's got 4 axis instead of 2, but I cant remember if it sounds any good.

Midi is just control data. It isn't an audio signal. You need to connect your virus outs to your line ins on your kp3, and make sure the switch on the back of the kp3 is set to "direct". I don't really understand. This doesn't sound like a midi problem, it sounds like an audio problem. Can you hear the synth patches or the drums on the kp3?

I think you need to save the two samples you want, save the other settings, then load both into a clean slate and save that as an "all".

The kp3 is not a stand alone instrument. It's mostly an effects box. It has 4 fairly short samples, and these are all run through the same effects. If you're sampling the internal sounds you have to "resample" (shift+sample).

If you're doing that and it's still not working, check that the linear fader on the left is all the way up.
