Is it possible to mirror the touch screen from the Pa4x to an external monitor or on any earlier models? I believe the Tyros has always had this capability?
Thanks ~ Charley

CD Drive
eThanks Pete for the lead. The unit is not that expensive and maybe worth a try. It's good to anticipate what might go wrong. I can always remove it if I encounter a problem. Would be interesting to compare the specs of the original vs. any considerable replacement to see if they match. Thanks again ...

CD drive
Pete: You bring up an excellent suggestion ~ and by using an MP3 player I could arrange a group of appropriate songs rather than being stuck with "what ever" tracks are on a particular CD. Excellent point! ~ Thanks again Charley Brown Still wouldn't mind finding a compatible CD player in case ...

CD Drive
Thanks Pete: I use the built in CD drive on my Pa1x, at gigs, to play CDs during breaks and also at weddings etc.. I have never used it to record. The advantage for me is that I have one less piece of equipment to load, cart along and set up. I wish I could find a compatible replacement that would ...

CD Drive
I've been told that Korg no longer supplies a CD drive for the Pa1x. Does anyone know where I might purchase a compatible replacement?
Thanks ~ Charley Brown

TC Helicon upgrade
Thanks Pete ~ Excellent point regarding TC Helicon upgrade originally provided as an option even with out a hard drive. I did pay to have it activated and I also have the activation code. I just hope it still works if it fails to activate after changing out the hard drive.
Thanks again Pete

TC Helicon upgrade
Hello Pete ~ I believe the hard drive is starting to go bad on my Pa1x. I have the TC Helicon upgrade activated. It's been said that Korg no longer supports the upgrade. Is the activation status stored on the hard drive. Will the activation code still work independent of Korg? In other words does ...

Hello Pete and Wittid: Thanks for your input. In order to have a better understanding I do have three questions. Could either of you shed light on exactly what data is stored on the SSD vs. HD. The reason I ask is because I'm puzzled as to why my PA1X Pro seems to be functioning and accessing all ...

Problem copying Song Book from Hard Drive
Hello Pete: As you know, I would like to access the ‘Song Book’ on the Hard Drive so that I can save it to a Floppy Disk. I would like to transfer this file to another KB. But when I press Disk/Load and then HD, I see only a blank page. The "Open", "close" and "load" are grayed out. I can, however, f ...

Hello Pete or anyone else? I would like to copy my Song Book and Custom Song list to a Floppy Disk.
