well, i got k61p midi controller and the only thing i can do when i hook it up with kaoss through midi is to controt A,B,C,D banks(turn on/off)

maybe some experienced users can tell me what i'm missing or is it all it can do?

I just wanna have midi-keyboard hooked with kaoss to play some piano melodies over the kaoss samples and our music, I'm asking bout it, because I've read something like u can't get a sound of midi-keyboard unless it's connected to the PC/MAC that's why I'm wondering. Maybe it's worth to buy a ...

Well, I'm going to buy a K61P to hook it with my KP-3 and i wonder what I'd be able to do with it? could I play it like a synth+using kaoss effects? Use it live also? I'm very new to the midi stuff, so please help me.

It is possible, exactly as I posted above. You HAVE to hold down the shift button as you hit the sampling button. So I choose the effect and while it plays I press the shift button+resample choose 16 bits press A and it would record the loop? And then I'd be able to switch to the other effects ...

Maybe it's a stupid question, but how I put for example dr.02 beat in bank A to start using other effects over it. I realized only one way and it's the worst way I guess, it's when I catch the signal from the speaker and sample it in bank A, but it sounds really bad. I wonder is there any civilized ...
