Compared to other synth, is this a standard limitation? Yes, it's pretty common for there to be modulation limits when the waves are samples (PCM). This is a major reason people buy synths like Radias/R3 with "virtual analog" oscillators. Sampled waves typically cannot be used with ring modulation ...

I was looking for a more thorough explanation/discussion and yes I have read the manual. I just wanted to discuss the modulation limitations when selecting a PCM wave for OSC 1. By the looks of it I thing OSC1 Pitch may not be modulated perhaps there is more DESTINATION? Compared to other synth, is ...

Re: Ableton anyone?
I've been building tracks on my Radias with a Yamaha AW16G, but I'm curious as to how Ableton would work? Could I record sequences made by the Radias' step sequencer into Ableton and then use a Mac to manipulate them in a live setting? The trick with triggering sequence on the Radias is to ensure ...

Re: Korg Midi Driver fails
On two different Computers, one with a powered Hub and without, both result in errors. Same with Radias Software, uploading the artist soundset unsuccessful. Any ideas? I spoke with UK techsupport who pointed me to another tool, this as well fails. Move it to a different USB PORT and re-install ...

Radias MIDI implementation Global versus Timber MIDI channel
Manual says "A RADIAS program consists of up to four timbres, and you can specify the MIDI channel individually for each timbre. If you’re playing the RADIAS from an external MIDI device, only the timbre( s) set to the same channel as the global channel will produce sound." Is this not kind of l ...

Re: Who said the radias was just a dance machine?
Alot of the sites and people I talk to seem to peg this radias as only a source of instant gradification for dance music? By no means am I saying that in a bad way or a good way, but in honesty : that title almost scared me away from my purchase of this unit. I really don't know why so many people ...

Y cable to mixer
Hello,
I'm running out of inputs in my mixer. Is it safe to use a 1/4" Y 1 male to 2 female on the input side of the mixer? Allowing me to have both the MPC and Synth OUTS connected the SAME mixer in?
Or are the Y meant to be used differently.

Ho Man
This was one of the main selling points for me purchasing the Radias. The built in drum sets along with the steps sequencer allows for infinite creativity. Just last night, using my laptop with the Radias sound editor, I tweaked an existing program SEQ2 assign to a drum kit and man ho man was I ...
