Where are you based? Have you had a play on the RH3 keyboard that's on the M3-88? (is that what you meant)

Bit late now, sorry...

But maybe this applies, since you're on XP:

I've run into that problem many a time over the years.

Also, maybe you just need a new PSU... ?

Hey Joe,
Where are you based? I *may* be selling mine... it depends on whether I can find an alternative controller keyboard I'm happy with.

Ok, I've just noticed they're not showing up in the list of Constrol Surfaces. Only in Input / Output under Midi Sync Prefs.

Nanopad/Nanokontrol not working in Ableton anymore

I don't know why, but when I do anything with these things they don't seem to be sending Midi to Ableton, or at least it doesn't think they are. They work fine in Cubase, though. Press a pad - midi activitity gets shown. I have no idea why, I did mess around with the settings in Ableton, for Midi ...

It still doesn't explain why they are costing more than 200% here. :(

Stupid country.

I really like that.

Do you have any of the other East West instruments?

I don't know why I'd not checked them before, but now I'm sorely tempted by the complete composer's collection, or whatever.

Seems like one of your questions is "What is the difference between MIDI and audio"? http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Lessons/MIDIvsAudio.asp should answer that one nicely. It's an old article by the looks of it, but should still be relevant. Which version of Cubase are you using? Here's my setup ...

Please take the following opinion with a mountain of salt - it's based on 2 years ago information. I didn't get the EXB-FW because so many people were complaining about huuuuuge latency/really rubbish performance and it generally not working well at all. I'd like to be wrong - it does seem a great ...

Folks, thanks for the ideas! I've been leery of updating the OS, because the loaner (with OS 2) seemed to be MISSING sounds -- combis and programs. The name and number would show on the touchscreen, but nothing happened, when you played the keyboard. Is that normal , when you update the OS??? It ...

Yeah, best thing to do (in addition to/after updating to latest M3 OS version - make sure you do it twice, see guide on how to update your M3) - save the sequence to your PC, along with the whatever else expansion libraries... Format a USB stick with the M3 - can't remember off the top of my head ...

Hi 35/240 = 0.15 is correct but this will have a 2.5amp fuse inside the unit which will cater for this. As a manufacturer we can't cater for users (at gigs or in the studio) always connecting the correct 3 pin plug with the correct fuse rating inside. So we put another fuse on the inside which will ...

We use APC ones at work, never had a problem with them, they keep Industrial PCs running long enough to safely shut down (I think it's at least 30 mins). I found some home-use ones that seem quite good, maybe worth a look? http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=21 When you say "keep my ...
