Thanks for that. I only got the demo version of Wavestate Native so won't let me load performances :S If the functionality I was after was possible then I'd buy both the hardware and the plugin version in a heartbeat! :) I've made patches before where the sample step lane advances to controller ...

Scanning through a wave sequence using a controller.

Hello! :) I got a question regarding wave sequences: What I'm trying to do is scan through the different samples/steps of a wave sequence using a controller (i.e. the Joystick +Y) , with smooth Xfades still working while doing so, resulting in something similar to working with a wavetable. I ...

Scanning through a wavesequence using the modwheel.

Hi everyone :) Long time Korg user, used to frequent this forum all the way back to the IrishActs hosting days and... here I am again, good to see familiar faces still around! ^^ I got a question regarding the Wavestate: When setting up a wavesequence from scratch in the Wavestation models, I could ...

sorry to resurrect an old thread.. 😅 re: Korg pattern based sequencer: Korg's RPPR is awesome for that kind of thing :) It is always on-sync and can't get off beat since you specifically set it to trigger patterns being synced on beat. Been using RPPR since the N364 days in the 90s and I've recently ...

Hi Sorry about the thread necromancy, just some nitpick about the Trinity effects: Trinity is actually capable of up to 8 insert effects, as opposed to Triton being able to only do up to 5. However, 8 is only possible if you use 8 mono IFX and of size1 while all 5 IFX on the Triton are stereo ...

thanks for the info everyone. I guess I'll just have to wait and see for myself and spend some time with the EP-1 engine :) I should have my own Kronos within about a month so I'll probably be posting some impressions here. Had a quick look around for busch's sampled rhodes libraries and could only ...

EP-1 Rhodes sounds

It's been a while :) After quite a hiatus I'm contemplating getting myself a Kronos. So far the no1 issue bugging me is slow boot times but I guess I can live with it. Another thing I'm also interested is the EP-1 engine and how 'warm/creamy' can we make things sound out of it. Here's a couple of ...

720nm will let a bit of colour in the 'reds' range in but it's not necessarily a bad thing. I shot stuff with 720nm in the past and was very satisfied with it as it offers a lot of creative possibility than, say, a 1000nm filter which lets a narrower range pass. The reds that pass through can be ...
