you need to reset the global midi contours in global mode. When you reinstall the OS you need to go into global and its a tab on the right corner of screen somewhere. Can't remember exactly but it worked on my 2 O's after OS install.

You need a PATA IDE SSD. You can buy the transcend ones on the bay but they are expensive. You can still buy them new but the price is thru the roof. Both my O's have these 64GB ones and it loads in about 10 seconds with all EXS STR LAC MOD-7 etc etc . Great upgrade, you won't regret. Also you won ...

Standard PATA IDE 2.5" SSD 44 pin. Ive replaced both my Oasys with SSD's. Try to get transcend and avoid buying those chinese brands. You can still buy transcend ones on ebay brand new but they're not so cheap.

Yes one was Karo and the rest were Korg. From memory Legendry strings and the Austrian Grand and the Karo one was a symphonic library. They were $249 a pop I think.

Its ok I got over it. I still love korg and buy all their gear but it is the way it is. Cant do much. These things happen. It was the first Kronos so I think the distributers themselves were new to all this software license policy.

So my Kronos was never destroyed by me or stolen. It was "their" fault yet after asking repeatedly for my licenses to be transferred to my new kronos the answer was "no". You heard about someone now who's situation does not exist in theory. Yet I still bit my lip and bought another 2 Kronos' sold ...

My gut feeling is that Korg would actually not leave you hanging if your Kronos got destroyed or stolen, but that they'd rather review it on a case by case basis. I've never actually heard of anyone who wanted to move his license to a different board and was denied. Going by the nature of this ...

The oasys sometimes displays that msg in error when the ram is getting old and is not seated properly. Open the oasys and take the ram sticks out and put them back in. Have you changed the oasys hard drive? The only time u are suppose to get that msg is when u change the hdd. If u have not hanged ...

Thanks again. Ive just transplanted ssd's on both my O's and the other one is running fine. I thought it may be the case but when u switch it on it goes to the blue screen which means it can't be related to loading the Ram samples. If this was the case, it would just not load the Ram samples or ...

HI I put in a brand new kingston kvr400x64c3a/1g in there and it still freezes. So I'm thinking the original Hynix is giving problems. There were 2 sticks in there but after 7 years I thought I should do some maintenance and replace the ram sticks. Upon installing the new Kingston, something ...

Oasys RAM stick question

HI I have read on forums that these RAM sticks work in the O KVR400X64C3A/1G (Kingston) What is doesn't say is whether u can use two identical ram sticks in the O. Meaning can I use 2 of these sticks in the O or do they need to be different sticks? My OEM Hynix one is giving me problems with the ...
