The SDK is finally out. We can't currently test it because the firmware update isn't out yet but at least we get to look through the SDK. At a first glance it seems quite simple and the toolset works across the different OS so that's good news as I'm on a Mac and wasn't looking forward to it being ...

I just happened to look at the Prologue SDK page last night and nearly had a heart attack thinking it was out right then :)

Not toooooo long to wait then. I just wonder if we can test code out on the hardware without the Librarian - otherwise that's going to be one long month.

Missed the C++ bit in your reply. Have you heard it’s a C++ api? I hoped it would be but wondered how practical that would be for them to expose.

Now I really can’t wait :D

Prologue SDK

Anybody have any idea when the SDK is out? I’m a coder and as soon as I learned the Prologue will have an SDK it was an instant buy for me. My Prologue 16 arrived today. Now I’m just itching to get coding custom oscillators.

You don't really need an editor with this keyboard. It really is the easiest to manipulate. The controls are really nicely laid out and the Oled screens work well.

When you are in the menu you can navigate by pressing the sound category buttons to reach the LFO sites and then click +- to find the wished parameter. But be sure to be in the menu already, otherwise your so far created sound is lost, cause you chose a different preset by pressing the category ...

No, an example: you want to edit the LFO You tweak maybe the intensity and frequency by the knobs, then the menu jumps automatically to the LFO sites and you just have to push +- to reach the other LFO parameters like waveform f. I. Its really well done. Ok a knob for each parameter would be better ...

LFO waveforms

The LFO waveforms appear to be hidden deep in the parameter list and only reached by hitting page+ or page- many times which is a pain when you are playing around with creating patches.

Is there a way of quickly changing the LFO waveforms without going through this?
