I saw yesterday that we can also set the "Velocity Control" parameter to "Memory" in the Preferences menu. Then you can hit your left hand at high velocity to switch off-on memory button.

Hi Guys, I would like to switch to the new OS 2.0 on my PA800, but as I have a show in december, I would like to be sure that I will keep all my user styles, sounds, samples, songbook. Will I lose all that by upgrading to OS 2.0 ? How to do a reliable backup and be sure not to lose anything ? Thanks ...

Re: New O.S

WHAT? Can you explain what are you talking about? "mute to input but still record the incoming sound". Is smething missing here? I do not understanding you... I think musicrazy mean the "loop" issue I reported when recording the output of a main analog mixer where the PA800 is ...

Hi Vip, Try setting up a custom scale with flattened 2nd and 7th by a quarter tone, then try playing the same Sitar sound using that new custom scale. Custom scale presets can be saved on the Pa500. Hi Rob, your suggestion seems interesting, I'll try that even though I didn't mean "pitch" issue but ...

Hi Romal-qaderi, Save these settings in a performance, then whenever you select that performance your settings will be recalled. You can also save the settings in performance 1-1 which is called Grand Piuano RX as default. This performance is the one that is automatically selected on power up. Hi ...

I'm not in front of pa800 but I think that you must go to sound mode, then press record, then press menu and select "multisamples" then you press on the upper right of the screen and choose import. Find the .KMP file and load it. Then save it with the "write" option and you have the multisample. I ...

Seems we cannot load the PCG file into a PA800, so I believe we have to load all KMP files and recreate using the MultiSample functionality, I have tried but I cannot find out how to use MultiSample menu, and the user manual is very light on that subject, is there any tutorial I can find on the ...

You can have that "harsh joint" when playing back also if you use "Fingered 2" mode Default mode I believe is Fingered 3, which is rather smooth. This is because Fingered 2 detects also single/double notes. I don't know whether Backing sequence record has it's own fingering parameter, maybe you can ...

Hello I found the problem (which was not a bug) It was the parameter Kick & Snare Designation in Menu-->Style Controls.

I forgot that the PA800 has the capability to override drums sounds when playing back

Korg PA are so powerful !

After having a closer look, I believe that it is not changing the velocity, but the sound... In fact I am playing the snare which is on A0 of the first drum kit (Standard Kit RX1) and then when I leave recording the sound played back seems to be the one on D2. And even more : If I recording the D2 ...

Re: Strange behaviour when modifying an existing style...

Hello, Sometime when I take an existing track for modifying it : For example, I add a snare on the Drum track, while recording it's ok but when I switch to another track (perc for example) the snare of the drum track has automatically increased a lot its velocity ! This can happen whey you ...
