Thank you sir!
If anyone else thinks otherwise, go ahead and say so. Otherwise, you can just say, "Yeah, that guy's right," which he probably is.

Kaoss Pad 3: A few general questions...

1. How many loops can be played at once? 2. Can you run effects through certain loops or must the effects be on all tracks simultaneously? 3. Is it possible to be controlling more than one effect at a time using the pad? Ex. Moving my finger on the pad will adjust delay and Band Pass (or something ...

Set 'Edit Select Nob 2' to Arpeg. A. Change 'Type' to At.1 with Nob 4. The Microkorg only has Four Note Polyphony, which means you can only hold four notes at a time, not five. If you want more than four notes then you have to change 'Range' to however many octaves you want with Nob 5. I hope this ...

Yeah, the mic plug will work fine. As for looping drums, depending what program you're using to record, wouldn't be easier to record the drum loops and the Korg separately? But I guess if you wanted, you might be able to use a layered patch with one layer as an Audio-In and the other as whatever ...

Vocal Synth

Anyone have any good recommendations on how to get a good voice-like sound on the MicroKorg? I can't seem to do it by my poor, lonesome self...
Thanks. = P

You're going to have to tell us what setting it told you to change, or link us to the video.

Thanks, I'm happy you left me a detailed comment!
I should tell you that that website isn't mine. It's my brothers. He's the one working on the novelization of FFVII.
Thanks again!

Songs using MicroKorg

Well, I thought that since others are doing it, I'd link you guys to some stuff I did with my MicroKorg. The songs that I'm linking you to are almost 100% MicroKorg. For this one, everything is original MicroKorg sound except the drums, which are Roland XV-88 drums run through the MicroKorg with ...

If you are using Garage Band, don't bother with any MIDI stuff. Your best bet is to just use regular patch chords. Garage Band doesn't support MIDI so it won't do much for you. So yeah, if you can get a hold of a chord that adapts two 1/4 cables into a 1/8 to plug into regular inputs, then you'll be ...

Well first, when you're playing live, it's very hard to get it so you can hear it. Other than that, just play with cut off and resonance until you get a sound that you like and can understand. You can always turn the DIRECT LEVEL up in AMP so you have your voice coming through as well to help with ...

This guy's got some stuff to say. The only thing is he uses the MS2000, but many of the same things can still be done with the MicroKorg. Also, if the first video frustrates you, still watch the second. I believe in you! http://insidesynthesis.blogspot.com/2007/12/your-korg-ms-2000-is-drum-machine ...

Just make sure that NOISE LEVEL is turned all the way down in MIXER and that you don't have any (no5) patches on. Other than that, I'm no hardware expert.

No it doesn't come with an empty bank, but lucky for you, it comes with a lot of useless crappy patches to write over. I'm assuming you're so broken up about this because the one you over wrote wasn't crappy. In this case, you can restore the patch by going to the one that you saved over and ...
