Man, fix your English! Besides, it's not like the Kronos is anything new, it's just a rehash of the Oasys which Korg released 5 years ago already.

I think the JR demo was a nice addition to the other demos. It showed the Kronos can do 'crazy' as well :) (among other things)

Well on the M3 it was a Komponent issue naturally (I don't think anyone would like a headphone out on the front panel of the module), but yeah it's good to see this.

Listen to the main 54 minute Korg Namm video.
Mr Rudess claims he uses a Korg instrument in DreamTheatre but not an Oasys. The word Oasys does not come out of his mouth.

I'm a big JR fan, but the Korg PR talk he gives in that video scares me

Still a shame they choose an Atom instead of a laptop I5 version, but if it does the job then i guess its okay..... But if it runs intoo polyphony stuttering issues i'd have prefered a $200 higher price tag for the more powerfull hardware.. Don't worry, the Atom just runs the OS and the user ...

Regardless of wether a workstation is still relevant or not, this looks like a great machine. The upgrade compared to the M3 is huge and this machine easily blows the Motif XF, Fantom G and PC3K out of the water. It's not really revolutionary (since we've seen most of this in the OASYS or VSTs) but ...

Hmm.. I notice it too on the Micro X. That's quite annoying. I did not investigate it, but I think it's a sample thing.

AFAIK you cannot communicate with the MIDI ports over USB. That would be cool, though.

Turns out the Micro X comes with a two-year factory warranty (thank you Korg :D), so I'm bringing it into the store where I bought this week.

If you're only going to play on your controller you can just connect the MIDI OUT of your controller to the IN on your DW-8000 and connect the THRU of your DW-8000 to your X50. That's what the MIDI THRU port's for :)

Argh.. it happend to me too. I'm really pissed off, since I haven't even played my MicroX for more than 50 hours or something in the two years I've had it  It's a shame that Korg kept shipping these poor quality joysticks for SO LONG. Mine constantly gives off JS+X messages (full bend) when I ...

Did you install the Korg USB driver? You need that for the MIDI-over-USB to work.

If you're standing while playing you could use a traditional X stand and set is really small. I have one that brings the Mirco X to a perfect height. Doesn't look really cool though ;)
