Panflute

In this set you can find a modified Pan Flute along with other instruments: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?in13kiqwmar The set also contains a panflute-like performance named "Wood pipes", which is a bit off tune in the high kb range, but sounds very good in the mid and low range. The set is ...

Synth sounds for Pa800/2XPro

Hello everybody, I just uploaded a set of 'synth' sound programs created by a friend of mine on a Pa800. These programs use ROM samples only. I guess this means they should also work on Pa2XPro, Pa500, and other compatible keyboards. I was surprised to discover how many interesting sounds can be ...

You might like to try this: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=fac973d87323c369d2db6fb9a8902bda Its a modified version of the Grand Touch Pianos made for the Pa1x (about 15mb) plus some pianos using sound modifications to factory Rom pianos. 16 pianos in all. They should work fine with the Pa2x/800 ...

Seems that I guessed right that I should re-format the drive and install the large OS+resources package. No problems so far.
I suppose it is always better to reformat the drive on a major OS update.

I agree on this with Loo, on the FX, also Filters too, Korg has the worst Filters. Nedim! You're so right there! The most important FX is chorus and LP/resonance filter. They are used in almost every sound program. I believe that Korg has changed the chorus and filter algorithms in OS 1.60 (yeah ...

Thanks Nedim, thanks Rob! I've made more changes to GM sounds and have updated my first post. Now it contains links to the newest BKP file and the accompanying user SET file with over 90 sound programs. As soon as OS 2.0 is out I'll try to transfer all the modified sounds back from the User bank to ...

Do you have a plan for how you will load the OS2 musical resources (with new DNC sounds) and not lose the work you've just done? Hi Rob, Korg PA operating systems really lack backward compatibility of musical resources. Ideally it would be great if Korg implemented selective resource backup/restore ...

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I didn't want to create a new thread. Just a small question... What message do I need to send to Pa800 to force a full midi reset (including pitch bend sensivity, effects, and other on all tracks)? I can switch between SONG, SEQ, or STYLE mode to achieve the same ...

Enhanced GM sounds for Pa800

Hi everyone, I'm through with my first attempt of massive improvement of GM sounds on my Pa800. I spend many hours in Sound Editor changing samples, tweaking filters, adding new layers, etc. Changes were made to over 90 GM sound programs. The reason was to make general midi files that utilize Bank 0 ...

The demo version of Awave Studio will allow you to convert 1 SF2 at a time to Triton Format. So you could convert the data that way and import the Triton format into the Pa2X under the Sampling MDOE. Which Triton format do you mean? That's KMP format. As far as I remember in the trial version of ...

Hi LightGreen, Yamaha always produce excellent piano samples, that is because they sample thier own Yamaha pianos. Korg samples from steinway pianos (i think) but the pa2x is sampled from the C-720. I all comes down to taste :) . Yes, I've just searched for the demos and the C-720 sound is very ...

Re: Organ Samples?
