Either way, using EXTERNAL mode and setting the CC to 11 makes no difference on the Prologue. Of course it will make a difference. You set preset in Prologue for E.Pedal to Volume(button 4 in edit) and you do a slider for that CC11 on Kronos. I tested with my Nordlead that send CC11 from it's pedal ...

So you cannot freely assign midi CC to each fader on Kronos? Seems Korg overlooked interconnectivity on their products then. If any product, Kronos should be able to do that. On Hammond I can assign expression pedal as CC7 or CC11, then 6 assignable knobs to either CC2-95(for each preset). Or a lot ...

Thanks, Narioso. But this doesn't address my issue with controlling the Prologue from the Kronos. What I'm really trying to do is be able to control the prologue with the volume sliders in either combi or seq mode. Every other synth I have has no issue. Sadly, I can't seem to get the Prologue to ...

Control Prologue Volume from Kronos

Hey everyone. I've looked high and low and found no reference to this other than someone stating they used cc#11 to control volume on the prologue. Dose the prologue not have volume control by cc#7? I really expected the volume to adjust like my other synths that are not Korg's, bot nope. Am I ...

Re: Audio input popping

However, when I play the external synth AND the Kronos together I get popping (not consistently, just enough to be really annoying). Have you tried trimming down the audio levels of both the external synth and the Kronos program or combi? That seems to help some. I have both inputs turned to ...

I'm about to route external synths through my Kronos for the first time. How do you do this? I'm assuming I can mix audio inputs as combi channels? How do I set the channel to do that? Sorry about the super-newb question Don't be, I'm not far off, I'm sure :) I don't know if you can make combis ...

Audio input popping

So I have an external synth's output routed to the audio input of my Kronos (both set to line). When I play the external synth I get sound, no issues. However, when I play the external synth AND the Kronos together I get popping (not consistently, just enough to be really annoying). Does anyone know ...

Ok. I think I got it. My confusion came from this quote out of the manual: "Programs, Combinations, and Songs all have a Pads page on
the ninth tab of P1:" But on any EXi sound there is no P1. Only HD1 has a P1.

Kronos 2 Program page P1, P2 and P3 all say P4

Does anyone else have this issue? In combi mode all pages appear normal. P0, P1, P2, etc. But in Program mode what should be P1 and P2 and I believe P3 all say P4.

Thanks, but I'm not 14. I understand that. The circumstances surrounding this purchase make returning it (while an option) a lose-lose scenario. And no, it is not stolen :)

Ok, so I did open it. I put spacers between the keys and the casing, turned it over, took off the wooden cover, and ever so gently slid the keybed back a fraction of an inch. This seems like a really poor design: mounting the keybed to that board. Is this common for keyboards? I've had a lot of them ...

Simply move the keybed back slightly. The gap being less in the middle indicates the front rail may be slightly bent. This happens by picking the keyboard up in the middle. Geo Yeah, I know that - the guy at Korg said that would fix it and that it was an easy fix for a technician. I'm just worried ...

Kronos 2 88 keys sticking/rubbing near middle

Ok, just got my 88 key Kronos and several of the keys rub on the front metal bar, making them had to press and making awful noises while playing. The A keys, as well as an F or two (can't remember exactly, it's in the box right now). When looking at the keys there is small gap between the the keys ...

A Korg song file has much more than just midi data. All the other parameters, many which are specific to each board, are also stored there. I know, which is why I mentioned stripping that data. I know that there are, and have been, SNG converters out there for Trinity, Triton, etc. I can't imagine ...
