I too have a Z stand and have three or four squeaky keys. I tried seating it totally flat on a table for a week and it made no difference. If it is possible to remove this key noise with a service (or as a previous poster mentioned a "greasing" of the springs) is it not possible for Korg to offer ...

A good answer - BUT an inbuilt PDF viewer would also allow you to display PDF copies of sheet music. Now that would be really handy for those gigs where you just haven't had time to learn the chord structure! It would save me a fortune on getting one of those natty LCD music stands too!!! Maybe a ...

I think I've answered my own question. Thought I had it: convert the wav to 48kHz in disk mode. But it's still stereo and apparently it's got to be a mono wav file (even if the audio tracks are paired, oddly). So the answer is - you can't! I think. Anyone want to set me straight or stop me bothering ...

When copying FX from a combi or program to a sequence you can choose the slot to copy to. This simple for one combi (if it's got three FX you'd just install "all" and it installs to bus1,2,3 etc. It's a bit more complicated to do it more than once. As soon as you check the "copy all" box you can no ...

Ripping CD into a Sequence
I can't find this anywhere in the manual (but I'm still at VERY early days with my O so I'm probably being thick). I wanted to rip a CD track into the sequencer so I can program tracks along side. I've ripped the CD track to a stereo WAV file OK but don't seem to be able to import the wav into a ...

My Factory directory is not locked and has been altered. Inside this dir is: EXS3.PCG LAC-1.KSC LAC-1.PCG (locked) LAC-1.SNG (containing three songs - all look empty and are blank when loaded) LAC-1 (directory containing 2 KMP files and matching empty folders) MOD-7.KGE (locked) MOD-7.PCG (locked ...

Factory Reset
Hi - my Oasys 88 has just turned up. Very impressed so far (apart from some squeaky spring noise on 3 keys). It's a second hand box and the HDD has a lot of junk and the preload.sng files etc are all corrupted. So my question is what's the best way to reset the HDD back to the way it is was when it ...

Thanks guys this is all great. Looks like the Quicklok still has the vote. The spider looks good but not sure it's going to be man enough for the 88 (especially as I've seen other threads talking about problems with the action if the keyboard isn't on a totally flat surface. The ultimate's going to ...

Dual stand for Oasys
Hi guys, Very excited about getting my new (well...second hand) OASYS 88 in a few days. I need some advice though: I 'd like to use a dual stand to enable me to mount my trusty old Trinity above the OASYS (both in the studio and out live) but I'm concerned that if I use a standard 2 tiered X-Frame I ...
