my ('new batch' - arrived two weeks ago) zero8 has no hiss to speak of.

i use sony mdr-7506 cans, and volume is nowhere near an issue.

it was a conflict with my atheros wireless card.

this dropout / high pitched squeal is the only problem i'm currently having with the zero series. i have XP SP2 installed, but have done the firewire fix. any other suggestions as to what night cause this?

sounds like the presets on the radias aren't meeting your specific needs.

try downloading these presets, as well as the other ones linked to in this forum. you will most likely find what you're looking for.
