Yes indeed, this issue is still alive. I can't get my Dell do recognize the KingKORG either. Tried with two different KingKORGs, different USB inputs, installed and deinstalled the drivers a bunch of times. I'm stuck. I hook the kingkorg up via MIDI to my very vanilla Dell XPS desktop and I can see it in the device manager and it tells me the driver is installed and it's working properly, but I can't get Live or the Librarian to see it.

Perfect. This may also solve my authorization issue.

Hm... I wouldn't think that an upgrade would be platform specific. I'm just worried because I'm moving from a non- syncrosoft version to a syncrosoft version. Man, Korg sure doesn't make this easy. I just wanted Monopoly... is that so hard?

Will I lose my Wavestation if I upgrade my original Legacy Collection to the new analog version? I want Monopoly but I don't want to lose the Wavestation. I wish they'd just sell these ala carte.

I'm having the exact same problem and I'm livid. I can put the same key number in and get two different responses from the software. If I'm connected it says, "Thanks for registering!" If I'm not it says, "Key invalid" or something like that. Quite obviously it's connecting to a Korg server ...
