I can assure you guys I am looking at the correct LED. It is blinking in tempo but on top of that it is also blinking every time I play a note. It doesn't do it when I play internal sounds. It does it when I play VSTs (i.e., a combi with a timbre set to EXT2). Trying to figure out why and how I can ...

Tempo LED
My tempo LED is blinking whenever I play a note. Does anybody know how to turn this off? I need to see the quarter notes to keep on time.
Thanks!

Thank you KingKronos. I did find the CC Offset dialog and set the channels and values I wanted, but I couldn't find where to specify the channel to send on. In any case, it didn't appear to work because my monitor didn't see the corresponding messages coming out of the kronos on any channel when I ...

Setting Fader 8 in a combi
I want fader 8/16 on the Kronos control surface to set to a certain value when I choose the combi. Does anybody know how to do that? I need it to send that initial value to mainstage when I choose the combi. Also, whenever I choose a new combi, it is sending a volume (7) to 127 to mainstage. Does ...

Re: Sending Program Change from Kronos Combi to Yamaha CP300
Thanks for that Alan. I had reviewed that topic thread and a few others here but it didn’t seem to provide any information to me regarding my current conundrum. I did note that it said you need to change the performance control channel for the Comby but I just search the parameter guide for p ...

Sending Program Changes from Kronos Combi to Mainstage
Has anyone done this successfully? Hoping someone has been successful otherwise there may be a bug in MainStage 3.5. I have a combi with timbre 1 Timbre Parameter/MIDI set up as follows: EXT2 16 001 001 This should send a program change message to change to bank 1 program 1 on MIDI ch 16. On the ...

The thing about getting “the most realistic simulation of an acoustic piano” is that there isn’t any standard feel to compare to. Pianos action changes over time depending on how it’s been played, how it’s been cared for, and maybe even temperature and humidity. Not to mention the brand of the piano ...

Do you mean that if I set it in global, that note can only play that chord no matter what combi or prog I am in? The way this can be done is described on page 39 of the Operation Guide, in the section entitled "Using the Chord Pads". Basically, go to Global P2 Controllers page and set the desired ...

Assigning a chord to a note in a combi
Hi all, I am trying to figure out how to Assign a chord to a note in a combi. The practical application is that I am playing single piano notes down low, and when I hit a note, I wanted to play a pad chord a couple octaves higher. I know how to assign a pad sound to the same note but I can’t figure o ...
