Roland KC-550 hott output...
Please forgive me for posting this in a Korg forum, but in the past this site has been EXTREMEly helpful (forgive the TEX pun...hahaha). I'm playing a TEX and an Electro 3 thru my Roland KC-550 keyboard amp. It has 4 channels, all of which are stereo, and output options. It has 1/4" L and R output ...

What is the Max amount of RAM that will work in the Extreme?
What is the max amount of RAM that will work in the Extreme? I know that 96MB is what the spec says...but has anyone tried to use more than that??? If so, does it work? What kind is it? And where can I get it?

Custom Brass/Horns
Ok...I need help creating a custom sound. I need some dynamic horns for this musical/play that I'm playing for. Basically, I would like the sound to be able to do the following things: 1. Brass swells. I want to be able to control brass swells. This is an important part of the "sound" that I am ...

kanthos...ur right, a "slow synth" is more what I have in mind for a "pad" sound...yet, I'm still not getting the sound I want...but it's getting closer. Goom...Thanks for the editing suggestions. I'm gonna try that tonight as soon as I get home. I'll try and find a specific pad sound on a song and ...

Need a good PAD sound...
Hello peoples.... I am in need of a good Pad sound. I don't like many of the ones in the extreme...or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. I don't want a motion synth. I don't want any rise and fall sounds. I don't want any highs in it at all. What I do want is a PAD sound that sounds ...

kanthos:: I think I'm gonna get an 88 note MIDI keyboard as a quick fix until I find out which second keyboard I really want. bsr2002:: I've looked at both the Motif ES6 and the Fantom X6. Since both these models are not the "latest and greatest" now....I can't go to a music store and try em out ...

kanthos:: Thank you so much for ur reply. That is a very good idea...however splitting 61 keys doesn't give me the flexibility I need for the stuff I'm playing. I occupy a lot of sonic space when I play. Sometimes it's out in front...sometimes it's background sound.....but either way I'll need more ...

Need a second keyboard
I have a TEX61 and I love it. I play in a church band (contemporary/gospel/rock music) and I'm the second keyboard player (keyboard player 1 carries the song with a piano or EP). The problem is that MANY times I need to be playing 2 things at once. Like I need to hold a background organ while doing ...

Preface: I have a TEX61 and a TEX88. I also have an E-Mu 0404 USB audio interface. Connections: (all optical S/PDIF) TEX61 --> TEX88 --> 0404USB --> Laptop (Program: Sonar LE) Questions: I can't get the optical connections to work at all. How should I set these keyboards up to get some sound out of ...

rockeys, The USB port does not send audio directly to anything. You may record what you play, and send a ".wav" file to your computer via the USB port. The only digital port that carries sound (as you play it) is the optical port. I just got an E-Mu 0404 USB interface. It's a big bang for the buck ...

Thanks shrike...that's what I needed to know. I have one more question for you. The effects of the tube (a true analog device)...are they processed and converted, and sent out the digital output...or is the tube bypassed when using the optical output? depulse, I'm thinking that your DAW should do it ...
