Thanks
hey intricate, thanks a lot for your answer. Now my one is completely out of order. I PMd almost everyone in this forum because now I want to get them all together and band up against Korg. This is seriously the worst R&D (and support) that I've ever come across. This will not stand ; ) But really ...

maybe...
hi, i'm not using the kaoss pad, but i'm a guitar player too. i think the best way to start with would be guitar-wah-bluesbreaker-kaoss-filter-1500 it depends on what you want it to sound like. the classic chain would be: guitar-wah-distortion-amp(-simulation)-modulation(chorus/flanger...)-delay ...

solo safe
hey Zalo, thanks for the reply, but this is not working for me as i have some bleeps and percussion loops on channels 7+8 (7->A / 8->B), so i can crossfade between them. the AB thing is kind of occupied already. i did like you said, before noticing this crossfader is very useful for that kind of ...

please add a SOLO SAFE function (ZERO8)
it would be cool to have a solo safe feature in the next firmware update. we're performing live electronic music, and two channels of the z8 are synths, the rest is drum machine output (seperate instruments), kick, hat, snare,... when i want to solo the kick, would be great to use the SOLO button ...

when talking about firmware updates...
i'm not sure if someone at korg reads this, but i'd like to have a SOLO SAFE function. we're using the z8 for live electronic music, and the keyboards just shouldn't go down just because i solo the kick.
but for whatever reason, does anyone else need to have this feature?
