Still trying to manage sounds

I'm still trying to find a proper way to manage my sounds - what with 36 presets, 8 fav buttons and 3 soundsets, and my own custom presets ... I would love to know, for each of the sounds in the soundsets, what the used samples are. I can't see in the editor if two 'presets' are just variations of ...

If I lower down the Pedal to the lowest position the sound won't go off That's by design. and pushing it forward toward the maximum position the sound isn't getting continously louder. It seems to be like an exponential curve. The exp-2 doesn't have that (as much). I just bought the xvp-20 thinking ...

I only have a single 3mm jack on my mac
Is that .. an input ? I would think that would be your headphone jack. If it is an input, on a mac, it's unlikely to be a line input.

What you need is an audio interface, like, spam ahead, https://www.bax-shop.nl/audio-interfaces

sv-1 pedalboard

I'd like to get a better set of pedals below the sv-1. Currently, I have 1 expression pedal (EXP-2), one damper (ds-2h) and one switch (ps3). It's messy and they always get lost while playing. Looks like I can use the ds-2h (the damper) for a switch. So I could use two sustain pedals instead of a ...

Re: warning ! dangerous cheap version around

So either Korg have changed the way that the bags are made, or you got sold a cheap knock-off?
It wasn't any cheaper, and its definitely a korg product ...

warning ! dangerous cheap version around

I'm the guy that started this happy topic. I rolled that bag along for more than a year until one of the wheels broke. .. partly my own fault. So i just ordered a new one. It felt different. The linen looked cheaper. It was tighter. The handles were on the other side. The metal handle looked less ...

If someone put a hack on the internet maybe Korg would pay attention to it again. Well, I didn't really do it ofcourse. I didnt really use - cough - *jad* on the jar files, did I. But somehow I'm 100% sure it decompiles really nicely :D But as I said nothing of the most wanted logic is in there. I ...

For Korg, its perhaps just as easy to rewrite the os so that a favorite button does not link to one sound, but to a soundpack. that way we could have 8 soundpacks on board :-) storing a sound would store it not to the favorite button, but to the selected sound in that buttons soundpack. Memory is ...

Knowing all that, I think it cant be that hard to create a piece of hardware, like a USB dongle/box, that contains all currently existing 144 sounds and some of your own favorites, that can send each of those to the machine in a few clicks For us. For Korg, its perhaps just as easy to rewrite the ...

To answer myself a bit: yes, the sounds, and by the looks of it most of the logic of the sounds, like layering and splitting, is in the machine. The SV1 editor is a java app, which can easily be reverse engineered, but that is illegal. From the looks of it, not much advanced sound design logic is in ...

+1 for the bag

Hi I read a lot of criticism on the 'sv1 carry bag' - the CBSV73 (or 88 ). So I initially bought another case, obviously a bit too big so I had to pad it with foam. Obviously a bit heavier than the bag because it was more solid. I carried/rolled it around for two days and was wrecked. Then I ordered ...

Surely, that was a typo ? 36+8=44 ?
