Re: KRONOS Relaunched!

Hi , Just to clarify. The 62 GB capacity is for user expansions etc. But the SSD size is 120GB in total. Im hoping there will be a spare sata slot so users can easily expand the disk space rather than having to clone a drive to expand. PS. I have not heard many current reports/videos from Namm yet ...

Re: KRONOS Relaunched!

My hope is for the OPTION of larger than 62 Gb SSDs from the factory
Option to save/load samples, seq with vocals from external drive without having to copy to internal drive
Improved sequencer equal to current software workstations

Indeed Korg website says 120 gb SSD

So what I understand you to say:
You may have sequenced data on tracks 1-10 and playing live on track 11.
When you save then reload, you are not automatically on track 11 but on one of the track with seq data.

It's been awhile since I've had mine apart. As I remember, the trick is make sure that the when placing with front body rail on the instrument, start the screws but don't tighten them. Then be sure to slide is as far forward as you can before tightening the screws. Thanks, I will try that with ...

Kronos I reassembly

Seeking advice on how to place keys to reassemble generation I 73 key Kronos. There should be an easier way so keys don't rub front or bang top of case.

When trying to save song " No space available on medium" appears despite having at least 1 Gig on internal drive. Same message appears when trying to save to flash or external SSD. Any ideas?

You can make a WAV file or a CD to play back on computer. You will not be able to do major edits to the file (changing sound, correcting notes etc.) but your hopefully saved original sng file will remain on Kronos hard drive for editing. Making the WAV file is easy and non destructive. You can make ...

Here's an example:
You have a library that can hold 60,000 books (hard drive) but you can check out and use only 3,000 books at a time (ram). If you put some books back, you can get more up to your limit of 3,000.

Certainly the Kronos has feautured you don't seems to need; Sequencer, the ability to add your own samples, the ability to create vastly personalized sounds, record audio, write to CDs, Karma, 60 Gb SSD etc. Even the 73 note Kronos is 7 pounds heavier than the Jupiter 80. If you are happy with the ...

Re: Transfer Sound Library

I recently switched from a 61 to a 73 key Kronos. Is there some way to cancel my purchased sound library on my old keyboard and switch it to my new keyboard? This has been discussed various times, so I'm kind of surprised to see the negative responses. The actual answer is: contact your national ...

Technician says power supply is one problem. He is having trouble getting a replacement. Parts is Parts list the part but say they can email when it is back in stock. Are there other sources for KORG parts? I'm sorry that this is being problematic. The part is available from Korg (in Japan), and ...
