Re: KRONOS Relaunched!
Hell no, I’m not buying another Kronos lol. I do really like the kronos, but I’ve had nothing but quality control issues with Korg flagships. My Korg m3 had screen issues, my first korg kronos x had keybed issues and failure to start issues. My second kronos x had keyboard issues that I was finally a ...

Missed the Kronos Library Sale 😪
Damn, I wanted to get the kronos EXs21 Italian piano but missed the sale; my 1 year old had been sick so going library shopping was the last thing on my mind. Does that library go on sale often or just for Black Friday? I'd buy it at the $130 price, but $200 is a bit steep for my taste.

I'm still a complete neophyte when it comes to the Kronos. My main interest in the Kronos is acoustic pianos. I know the Kronos does a lot of cool stuff, but Pianos is my jam. Having said that, my Kronos 88 came with th e EXs12 Austrian Piano. I purchased the Korg Sound Pack 3.0 last black friday to ...

I have a policy that is basically having a keyboard or piano in every room. Both my 8 year old and I play the piano. The five year old will start soon, and the one year old at some point too. Hence, my policy. However, each keyboard has to feel as close as possible to a piano, or at least the action ...

New Take On RH3 Action.
I make an effort to admit when I'm wrong and correct my mistakes as soon as possible. There have been a few occasions when I expressed my disapproval of the Korg RH3 action, especially on the Kronos x88. Consequently, I tend to lean towards Yamaha and Roland for digital pianos and slabs. However, it ...

Freeing up memory
I have a Kronos x88 and have the library to update it to 2.0 plus the Austrian Grand. This left me with 33MB RAM left. I want to buy the Italian grand expansion during the black friday sale. Is there a way to free up ram without having to get rid of the Austrian Grand? Or do I have to uninstall the ...

RH3 Keybed question
Does anyone know if the RH3 keybed from other keyboards, such as the D1 or the like is interchangeable with the keybed on the Kronos x88? Maybe I'm reading too much into thinking that is a possibility because I keep reading that these keyboards all have the RH3 action. I'd figure all the parts are ...

I would recommend simply : 1) Do a Save All of what the Kronos has in case you want to restore certain programs you like right now, 2) Load the Kronos X PRELOAD PCG (usually in the FACTORY directory on the Kronos SSD) to restore all progs and combis to default state. 3) Then you can proceed with ...

Unless you experience repetitive crashes and such which can be caused by data corruption, there is no need to format the SSD. At the very end of the Kronos Parameter Guide is a procedure to restore your unit to the default state. Do you think I have to restore the unit to default state or do you ...

Do I need to format or return to factory settings?
I purchased a Kronos X and the previous owner formatted (restored) the keyboard using the disks for the Kronos 2; that's what he said, but I'm not sure if he just installed the demo versions of sound pack 3.0. As you can imagine a lot of programs are in demo mode. Also, on bank IA the first program ...

Help Understand Kronos and Expansion Packs.
I just purchased a used Kronos X 88 that has two installed expansions, namely EXs11 legendary strings and Exs 12 Austrian Piano. Unfortunately the guy who sold me the keyboard said he had reinstalled everything to factory settings using his Kronos 2, so a lot of the programs installed are in demo ...

Unfortunately, I don't have the energy in me, but I wish I could create a signature sheet where everyone having issues can sign the sheet and then present this evidence to korg to show them that the screen issue is a common problem. Maybe send that list to a few online magazines just to show the ...

I'm having screen issues like many people are. More specifically, my screen calibration is completely off. I can get the calibration right on spot after a few calibration attempts, but the calibration goes all crazy again once I restart the M3 module. I tried fixing the issue by clipping the ...

Thank you! I am more concerned with the presets. I figured that if the microx has completely different combis, buying it would be like buying a set of new combis and patches for about $350 (used). I don't mind that the presets and combis don't sound as good as those in the M3, as long as the combis ...
