It's easy to write the Kaossilator off as sort of a cheesy beat-maker. But if you're creative enough with the arpeggiator and overdubbing features, possibilities are almost endless. I would suggest running it through an effects processor if you're really looking for versatility with the instrument ...

Kaossilator Pro question regarding industrial music
The last 4 days i'm doing some research on the Kaossilator Pro to see if it can be usefull for the music i am making with a friend. The style of our music leans toward a Skinny Puppy/Angelspit type of industrial. In other words; lots of weird sounds. :-) I need an instrument that can be useful in ...

[R3] Korg R3 doesn't 'read' tempo from Cubase SX3.
My problem:
i've set the R3 routing to 'usb' and clock to 'ext. usb' but when i play an arp. or seq. the tempo seems to be 0 and not the 120 bpm i've set Cubase SX on.
It looks like there's a communication problem between Cubase and the Korg.
Is this a know problem or am i doing something wrong?

The problem is that you have configured the editor to the midi in/out of your Fast Track Ultra, instead of the R3 directly. Hook your R3 to your computer directly via USB, install the USB-MIDI driver, then configure the editor to use the R3 USB-midi ports directly. As soon as i'm home from work, i ...

R3 - Sound Editor Program problem
Hi everybody, The sound editor program on my Windows XP SP3 computer isn't working properly. Receiving programs or data doesn't work. I get a 'device inquiry error' http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/3659/screened4.jpg Sending 1 program to the R3 works fine so it looks like sending is o.k. but ...
