Sorry, it's not possible. On the top left there's an input selector switch. You can only select the mic or the line input.

You'd need to get a small mixer to plug both the mic and the CD/MP3 player into, and then pass them out through your KP3.

I'm thinking of getting an MS2000 to go with my Electribe SX1. When you change patterns on your MX does the MS2000's pattern change smoothly or does it drop out while it changes to the next configuration?

You need to control the touch pad with ableton.

Page 21 of the KP3 manual sets out what CC data you have to send for each function. That way ableton can trigger the beat to start at the right time.

I don't use ableton, but this works with my sequencer.

I'm controlling my KP3 with an Electribe SX1 and can automate the touch pad ok. I'd like to be able to change it's effect program automatically too. It says on page 21 of the manual that program messages are sent and received. Anyone know how to do this?
