you could try using a mini cable (1/8") going from your computer's line-in (usually blue) to the mono out on your MK but you will need a 1/8" female to 1/4" male adapter on the MK end. then in audacity set it up to receive from your sound card, and then make sure your computer's main sound driver ...

there is a pock lever underneath key C4. it will unscrew a device known as a chain tap, which will loosen all the keys a tad if you turn it to the right. use a toothpick to pull out the lever and a ordinary screw driver to adjust the chain tap. cheers.

hmm, im not sure how to diagnose your problem..

when youre on a vocoder program the lights turn green right?

and are you using the included mic?

im sure you already know this but you also must press a key to hear any sound as you are talking through the mic/playing audio in.

microKorgs are very touchy when it comes to power supply.

so you ordered it from the US do you have non-US plugs/voltage?

if so sadly your microKorg is destroyed most likely, repairs are not worth the trouble for a $400 synth.
